She says that as we wait for a vaccine for the virus, and the resolution of the global pandemic, we have learned the crisis reflects the “imbalanced relationship between humans and nature. “

“We cannot wait for any vaccine to cure our environment and protect our future. To heal our world now, we need everyone’s cooperation,” she says.

She says the group is working to amplify the ideas and direction of individuals creating positive impacts in their communities across Asia-Pacific, to address both COVID-19 and the climate crisis.

“As each country approaches a different stage of this global transition, we’ve rounded up insights and visions from 14 nominees across the region to share with our community to stay strong together.”

She says their interviews, videos and articles will published over the next few weeks.

The team would also like to hear from other landscape architects wanting to help shape “our post pandemic world and profession.”
