World Landscape Architecture Awards 2023
The World Landscape Architecture Awards (WLA) 2023 are now open for entries, seeking to honour outstanding work in the profession of landscape architecture worldwide. This annual international awards programme aims to celebrate the profession, showcase landscape architecture projects and inspire professionals and students.
The WLA Awards endeavour to recognise innovative work, both conceptual and built, and provides the opportunity for landscape architects from all countries to be recognised on the world stage by their profession. Entries must be in by March 24.
This year WLA is inviting landscape architecture and landscape design firms to enter their projects in the professional awards category. Other design professionals such as architects, engineers, planners, urban designers, interior designers, horticulturalists can also enter projects when a landscape architect or designer (within or outside of the company) was involved in designing the project being submitted.
Organisations and companies such as developers, governments, and authorities, may also enter landscape architecture projects on behalf of the landscape architect/designer with written permission from the designer or design firm to submit the project. A submission cannot be submitted in more than one category, and entrants can enter multiple projects, but they must purchase a registration for each entry.
To be eligible, projects must be a concept or built during 2019-2023, and projects that have previously won a WLA Award (Award of Excellence, Merit, or Honour Award) cannot be submitted. However, any previously shortlisted entries can be entered in this year's WLA Awards if they meet the eligibility criteria.
