Marking World Landscape Architecture Month with an index of excellence
World Landscape Architecture Month is an ideal time to remember and reflect on the catalogue of landscape architecture excellence created through the dedicated mahi tahi of landscape architects in Aotearoa New Zealand - every week, of every month, of every year!
One excellent reminder of this excellence is the bi-annual 2024 Resene NZILA Awards programme which is featured in a Showcase hub on the NZILA website, inclusive of the Supreme Awards and multiple Category Awards presented.
Before the next World Landscape Architecture Month rolls around in April 2026, Landscape Architecture Aotearoa (LAA) is committed to revisiting the stories behind award winners and building an index of these and a plethora of related stories for future reference. It’s a focus that will run in parallel to revising how we feature content here on Landscapearchitecture.nz and a push on seeking more contributor input and reader feedback. A space to watch!
